Short answer: Select Saunas is an online sauna store, not a maker. It says it’s an authorized dealer for every brand it carries, so the full manufacturer warranty applies, and on Oct 27, 2026 it listed five like-for-like Almost Heaven models for $287 to $894 less than almostheaven.com (a sixth, the Watoga, was $262 less but with a smaller heater), with free shipping to the lower 48 states. The catch is in the policies: a 20% restocking fee on Almost Heaven returns, a 12-hour cancellation window, and shipping timelines that differ from page to page. We haven’t bought from Select or used these saunas in person. Disclosure: Select Saunas pays us a commission when you buy through our links, which is why we list the downsides first.
Who Select Saunas is
- A retailer, not a manufacturer. It sells saunas, heaters and accessories from Almost Heaven, Harvia, HUUM, SaunaLife, Auroom, Kohler, Dundalk Leisurecraft, Golden Designs and others. Almost Heaven saunas are still built by Almost Heaven; Select’s Almost Heaven listings say “Made-to-order in WV, USA.”
- Authorized dealer claim. Its About page says it is an authorized dealer for every brand it sells, so you qualify for the full manufacturer warranty. We didn’t find a public dealer list on almostheaven.com to confirm that independently, so it’s worth asking Almost Heaven before a big order if that matters to you.
- Contact. Phone +1 (866) 698-6690, [email protected] and live chat, weekdays 9 AM–5 PM Eastern. The listed mailing address is a Casper, Wyoming suite address (312 W. 2nd St #3439), and the FAQ says most orders ship from Wheeling, Illinois.
- Payment. Major cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, HSA/FSA through Truemed and financing through Bread Pay, on a Shopify checkout.

Base configurations, before tax, checked on both sites Oct 27, 2026. Almost Heaven’s Fall Favorites sale ends Oct 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Select lists one configuration per model and doesn’t always say which door or lumber option it includes, so compare the spec list line by line before you assume it’s identical. Our sauna price index tracks these prices over time.
Image: Select SaunasThe 4-person red cedar barrel with a 6 kW Harvia KIP heater. Select’s price was $757 under Almost Heaven’s own sale price and $2,272 under its regular price on Oct 27, 2026. Select’s listing says it’s made to order in West Virginia with a 3–4 week lead time. Full details in our Pinnacle review.

The fine print to read before you order
- Returns cost real money. Select allows returns within 30 days of receipt, unopened and unused. Almost Heaven saunas carry a 20% restocking fee, refunds also lose a 5% payment processing fee, and the original shipping both ways isn’t refunded. Dundalk Leisurecraft sales are final. For comparison, Almost Heaven’s own policy is 30 days, unopened, minus both shipping charges and a 25% restocking fee, and assembled units can’t be returned.
- The cancellation window is short and stated two ways. The policy says you can cancel within the first 12 hours if the order hasn’t been crated or dispatched, then refers to “the initial 24-hour period.” The FAQ says you can cancel as long as it hasn’t been dispatched. Treat 12 hours as the safe number and get any cancellation confirmed in writing.
- Refusing delivery is expensive. Refusing for any reason other than damage or a shipping error means a 20% restocking fee plus shipping charges.
- Inspect before you sign. The FAQ says a delivery receipt signed without damage notes counts as acceptance in perfect condition, and asks for damage or missing pieces to be reported within 48 hours.
- Shipping is free to the lower 48, with exceptions. Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico are quoted at cost; Canada is a flat $899 CAD. The FAQ also lists a $1,299 charge for full-truckload flatbed shipments, so ask whether your model ships flatbed. A “difficult delivery fee” can apply to hard-to-reach addresses.
- Lead times differ by page. Almost Heaven product pages at Select say 3–4 weeks made to order. The shipping section on those pages says most saunas take 1–2 weeks to be ready and flatbed shipments can take 3–6 weeks because of limited driver availability. The general shipping policy says custom saunas take at least 2–4 weeks before they’re ready to ship. Ask for a current estimate if you have a deadline.
- Price match has conditions. Select will match a lower price on the same brand and model from an online-only authorized retailer that has it in stock, with proof, shipping included in the comparison. Rebates and buy-one-get-one offers don’t count.
Buy from Select if…
- You want an Almost Heaven barrel or indoor sauna at the lowest price we found online.
- You’re in the lower 48 and want free freight.
- You’ve settled on the model and are unlikely to return it.
Buy direct from Almost Heaven if…
- You want a configuration Select doesn’t list, such as the Wi-Fi quick-ship Salem or a specific door or heater upgrade.
- You’d rather deal with the manufacturer from order to delivery, and the price gap is worth it to you.
- You want Almost Heaven’s own installation service; our home sauna cost guide covers what install adds.
FAQ
Is Select Saunas legit?
It’s a real store with a published phone line, email, live chat, return policy and shipping policy, and it says it’s an authorized dealer for every brand it sells. We haven’t ordered from it ourselves, and we couldn’t load independent review scores to report here, so read recent customer reviews before a large purchase.
Is Almost Heaven cheaper at Select Saunas?
On the six models we checked Oct 27, 2026, yes: $287 to $894 less than almostheaven.com on five like-for-like models, including against Almost Heaven’s Fall Favorites sale. The Watoga is the exception to a clean comparison, because Select’s price comes with a 4.5 kW heater and Almost Heaven’s with 6 kW.
Do I still get the Almost Heaven warranty?
Select says every product it sells comes with the full original manufacturer warranty. Its Almost Heaven listings show a limited lifetime warranty on the sauna room and 5 years on the heater (1 year on the elements).
How long does delivery take?
Select’s Almost Heaven listings say 3–4 weeks made to order, with flatbed shipments possibly taking 3–6 weeks. Delivery is to the curb, so plan help to move the pallet.
Can I cancel an order?
Plan on 12 hours. After that, or once it’s dispatched, the return policy applies, including the 20% restocking fee on Almost Heaven saunas.
Did you test Select Saunas?
No. We haven’t bought from Select or used these saunas in person. This page is built from Select’s and Almost Heaven’s published prices and policies on Oct 27, 2026. See how we compare saunas.
