This is our sauna price index: the listed price of every home sauna and cold plunge we track, checked on the brand’s or dealer’s own site and dated. All prices below were checked on Oct 20, 2026 unless a row says otherwise. We started logging on Oct 9, 2026, so you can see what moved, what didn’t, and where the same sauna is cheaper at a dealer. We’ll refresh this page monthly, then weekly from Nov 1 through Cyber Monday (Nov 30).
What changed since Oct 9
- Dealer prices beat the maker’s on matching builds. On the Salem and Pinnacle, where both listings name a 6kW heater, Select Saunas lists them $309 and $757 below Almost Heaven’s own price (the Pinnacle comparison uses Almost Heaven’s Fall Favorites sale price, which ends Oct 31). Select is also $262–$530 lower on the Logan, Hillsboro and Watoga, but its listings name a 4.5kW heater while Almost Heaven’s base builds use 6kW, so those aren’t like-for-like. Door and window options can also differ, so compare the full build before you buy.
- A sale ended mid-month. Monolight’s prices went up after its October sale: One $1,899 → $2,299, Duo $2,399 → $2,999, Pro $2,999 → $3,349 (Oct 15 vs Oct 19, still the same on Oct 20, 2026). If you saw an October price for a Monolight, check it again.
- Barrel and cabin prices held steady. All 14 sauna prices we track at Select Saunas are the same as on Oct 9, except the Madison, which dropped $271 (from $4,786 on Oct 9 to $4,515 on Oct 13).
- Cost per seat falls fast with size. Divide the price by the maker’s maximum seat count and the 2-person Salem works out to $2,088 a seat, the 4-person Pinnacle $1,326 and the 4–6 person Huntington $1,042. The cheapest per seat on this page is the indoor Worthington at $865. A finished Sweaty Yeti sauna building is $4,950 a seat.
- Cold plunges with a chiller start under $600. Plunge Chill’s six chiller-and-tub kits run $569 to $1,499, unchanged since we first logged them, and well below the compare-at prices on its pages.
Barrel and cabin saunas (traditional, electric)
Almost Heaven saunas sold by Select Saunas, an Almost Heaven dealer, and by Almost Heaven direct where we could match the model. “Heater” is what the Select Saunas listing names. “Per seat” is the Select price divided by the maker’s maximum seat count, our own math.

All models are Almost Heaven except the SaunaLife E6. Almost Heaven direct prices are the lowest-priced build on its product page (glass door, rustic red cedar, 6kW KIP heater with dials where offered). Select Saunas also shows much higher compare-at prices on these listings; we don’t treat those as real discounts. Custom infrared saunas: quote only
SaunaCloud (paid link) builds far-infrared saunas to fit your room and doesn’t publish a price list, so it has no row in our tables. Its own FAQ puts kits at $5,000–$15,000+ and typical installed totals at $6,000–$17,000, including contractor and electrician estimates (checked Oct 20, 2026). Ask for a written quote. Sales we’re watching into Black Friday
- Almost Heaven Fall Favorites: 20% off the Rainelle, Blackwater Cube, Madison, Pinnacle, Huntington and Bridgeport on almostheaven.com, applied at checkout, through Oct 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET (sale terms page).
- Almost Heaven site banner: on Oct 20, 2026 it also showed “$1000 Heater Upgrade Credit + Free Smart Sauna Sensor — Ends 10/21.” We haven’t seen the full terms, so check them before you count on it.
- Select Saunas: its Salem listing shows a “Fall Sale!” label and 2 free gifts. No end date posted.
- Plunge Chill: its homepage banner reads “up to 55% off.” No end date posted.
- Black Friday (Nov 27, 2026): no brand on this page had announced a Black Friday sale as of Oct 20, 2026. Confirmed deals go on our Black Friday sauna deals tracker the day we see them.
How we collect prices
We open each product page on the brand’s or dealer’s own website and record the price shown for the base configuration, plus any compare-at or regular price the page displays, with the date. Where a store exposes its product data (most of these run on Shopify or WooCommerce), we read the same price from that feed to avoid typos. We don’t count coupon codes, financing offers, shipping, tax or installation. When a dealer and the maker list different prices, we show both and note when the builds differ. We don’t estimate prices for brands that only quote. Prices change without notice; always confirm at checkout. Our full method is on how we score.
FAQ
Will saunas be cheaper on Black Friday?
We can’t promise that. As of Oct 20, 2026, no brand we track had announced a Black Friday sale, and some fall sales, like Almost Heaven’s (ends Oct 31), are running now. We’ll log every change on this page and the deals tracker.
Why is the same sauna cheaper at a dealer?
Dealers set their own prices. Builds aren’t always identical: on the Logan, Hillsboro and Watoga, Select Saunas’ listing names a 4.5kW heater while Almost Heaven’s base build uses 6kW. Compare the heater, door, window and wood before you decide.
What does a home sauna cost all-in?
Add a 240V electrical circuit, a level base, delivery and assembly to the sticker price. Almost Heaven lists professional installation “starting at $1,400” on its Salem page (Oct 20, 2026); electrical and base work vary by site, so get local quotes. How often is this page updated?
Monthly, and weekly from Nov 1 through Cyber Monday (Nov 30, 2026). Every price shows the day we checked it.
