An indoor sauna kit turns a corner of a basement, garage or spare room into a real traditional sauna: a wood room, a stone heater and a bench. Every kit below comes with a Harvia electric heater and stones, so the listed price is close to the real price before wiring. We compared seven on price, seats, heater size, circuit, footprint and warranty. Prices and specs come from Select Saunas’ product pages on Oct 9, 2026. We haven’t tested these saunas ourselves.

*Listed price at Select Saunas on Oct 9, 2026. Select is an Almost Heaven dealer that pays us a commission; it doesn’t say which door or lumber its listed price includes, so confirm before you order. Every heater needs a dedicated hard-wired 240V circuit, and the light plugs into a 110V/15A outlet. Delivery (LTL curbside, one pallet) and electrical work aren’t included. Warranty on all seven: limited lifetime on the sauna room, 5 years on the heater and its components (1 year on heating elements, per Select).
The picks, with the tradeoffs
Image: Select SaunasA true one-person sauna that fits in about 53" × 36", so a closet-sized corner works. It has a 4.5kW Harvia KIP heater on 240V/30A, a glass door and an LED light. Tradeoffs: one seat only, and the 31" bench means you sit upright. Select lists an optional 6kW heater upgrade.
Image: Select SaunasThe cheapest kit here that seats more than two. A 65" full-length upper bench plus a short lower step gives you a hotter and a cooler level, with a 6kW heater on a 30A circuit. At 47" deep it fits along one wall. Tradeoffs: the lower bench is only 20" long, so the third seat is tight.
Image: Select SaunasA five-sided corner design (57" × 57") that tucks into a room’s corner instead of eating a wall. Tinted full-glass door, one full-length bench, pre-assembled wall panels, and a 4.5kW heater that can go on the left or right. Tradeoffs: two seats, one bench level, and it costs about $400 more than the Auburn.
Image: Select SaunasA 63" × 44" rectangle with a deep 24" bench, tinted full-glass door and pre-assembled panels; the door and heater can go on either side. Tradeoffs: 4.5kW heater (a 6kW upgrade is listed), one bench level, and the Auburn seats more for less.
Image: Select SaunasUpper and lower benches with a 6kW heater in a 65" × 53" footprint, with four door options. Read our full Madison review. Tradeoff: about $525 more than the Auburn for a slightly deeper room.
Image: Select SaunasA 71" square room with two full-length 66" benches, so four people sit without touching, and the upper bench is long enough for one to lie down with knees bent. It has a 6kW heater on 30A; Select lists an 8kW upgrade. Tradeoff: it needs a 6-ft square of floor plus door swing.
Image: Select SaunasThe biggest kit here: 80" × 61" with a 77" upper bench, an L-shaped extension and a lower bench, for 4–6 people. It comes with an 8kW Harvia KIP heater. Tradeoff: that heater needs a 240V/40A circuit, not 30A, so check your panel before you order.
How to choose an indoor sauna kit
- Start with the circuit. All seven need a dedicated hard-wired 240V circuit (30A, or 40A for the Worthington). Get an electrician’s quote first; it can change which room works.
- Measure with clearance. Add room for the door to swing and a few inches around the walls. Height runs 78–80", so most basements with 8-ft ceilings work.
- Two bench levels change the experience. Heat rises, so an upper and lower bench (Auburn, Madison, Grayson, Worthington) lets people pick their temperature.
- Floor: put it on concrete, tile or another water-tolerant surface, not carpet.
- Traditional or infrared? These are all stone-heater saunas. If you only have a 120V outlet, see traditional vs infrared.
FAQ
Do these indoor sauna kits include a heater?
Yes. Select lists a Harvia KIP heater and sauna stones with each of the seven: 4.5kW (Logan, Sutton, Hillsboro), 6kW (Auburn, Madison, Grayson) or 8kW (Worthington).
Can I plug an indoor sauna into a regular outlet?
Not these. Each heater is hard-wired to a 240V circuit. Only the LED light uses a standard 110V outlet.
What’s the cheapest indoor sauna kit here?
The one-person Logan at $3,885. For two or more people, the Auburn at $4,260.
