Verdict: the Vienna is the 2-person Salem room with a 1 ft canopy porch on the front. The porch keeps rain and snow off the door and gives you two small outside benches for towels or a cool-down seat. You pay $746 more than the Salem for it, and Select lists the Vienna with a smaller 4.5kW heater (6kW upgrade available). This review is based on Almost Heaven’s and Select Saunas’ published specs and prices on Oct 13, 2026. We haven’t tested it ourselves.

Image: Select SaunasWhat stands out: the porch is the reason to buy it. The door sits under cover, and the two 12" exterior benches give you a spot to sit between rounds. You also get the widest lumber choice of these barrels, including clear cedar. Tradeoffs: the room inside is the same size as the cheaper Salem, the 39" benches are for sitting upright, and the standard 4.5kW heater is smaller than the Salem’s 6kW. Select says two people can usually assemble it in six hours or less with a cordless drill.
